Professor Sterio Delivers Lecture to UCLA Pre-Law Students
Professor Sterio delivered a presentation to the UCLA Armenian Pre-Law Society on April 11, on the topic of “States as Main Actors of International Law.” Professor Sterio was invited to deliver this lecture to a cohort of UCLA undergraduate students, as a “teaser” and preview of what an International Law class would look like in law school.

Professor Heidi Gorovitz Robertson served as a Peer Reviewer for the 2025 Cycle 2 Fulbright Specialist Roster applicants. Robertson has served as a peer review for Fulbright for more than a decade. She evaluates applicants in both law and environmental studies.
Robertson is the Steve W. Percy Professor of Law at the College of Law, and Professor of Environmental Studies at the Levin College of Public Affairs and Education.

Professor Milena Sterio participated in a debate on March 18, organized and hosted by the Federalist Society at Case Western Reserve University Law School, about whether Israel’s war in Gaza is legal under international law. Professor Sterio debated Professor Eugene Kontorovich, George Mason University Antonin Scalia School of Law.
Professor Heidi Robertson Serves on ABA Site Team
Professor Heidi Gorovitz Robertson was appointed by the American Bar Associate to the site team sent to St. Thomas University School of Law in Minneapolis, Minnesota, as part of that law school’s reaccreditation process. Robertson served as the team’s Academician responsible for fact checking the law school’s compliance with ABA standards on the Program of Legal Education and Academic Standards. This was Robertson’s third site visit. Previous visits were to the law schools at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, and Southern Illinois University.
Robertson is the Steven W. Percy Professor of Law at CSU|Law and Professor of Environmental Studies at the Levin College of Public Affairs and Education.

Associate Dean Ray Participates in Cambridge Cybersecurity Leaders Forum
Associate Dean Brian Ray participated in the 2025 Cambridge Cybersecurity Leaders Forum. The Forum is an annual meeting of senior corporate cybersecurity executives and a select group of specialist advisors. Participants include: CISOs, CSOs and CIOs from Fortune 500 companies and their in-house counsel, along with outside counsel, cybersecurity consultants and academics.
Limited to under 50 participants, the goal of the Forum is to provide an opportunity for everyone to share experiences and perspectives, and collectively ‘raise the water table’ on effective management in this field. The 2025 Forum featured a keynote discussion with former General David Petraeus and briefings by senior regulators and federal law enforcement.
