Professor Sterio Participates in International Humanitarian Law Dialogs

Professor and Associate Dean Milena Sterio moderated a session entitled “Victims and International Criminal Tribunals” at International Humanitarian Law Dialogs, a conference which takes place annually at Chautauqua Institution in Chautauqua, New York, and which bring together academics and practitioners in the field of international criminal law.  Professor Sterio had organized this session in her capacity as editor of the Intlawgrrls blog, which had sponsored this session.  Intlawgrrls is an academic blog dedicated to discussions of international law and policy and open to female contributors only.  Professor Sterio is a member of the Advisory Board of International Law Dialogs, and has also helped to organize this year’s conference in general.

Professor Sterio published a blog post on this year’s female voices at International Humanitarian Law Dialogs on Intlawgrrls; the post is available here.

In addition, Professor Sterio’s remarks from last year’s International Humanitarian Law Dialogs were published in the “Proceedings of the Eleventh International Humanitarian Law Dialogs,” a conference volume published by the American Society of International Law.  Professor Sterio had delivered the “Year in Review” lecture at last year’s Dialogs.
