On December 1st, 2023, Professor Karin Mika delivered a presentation at the LWI One Day Conference, conducted virtually at the Sandra Day O’Connor School of Law (ASU). The presentation, titled The Hazards Along the Extended Path to Our Origin, discussed the ABA Standards concerning the status and security of professionals in Legal Writing. The discussion encompassed the historical context of these standards and explored the potential impact on the standing of skills teachers in light of the shift towards online programs in law schools.
